Best e reader I’ve ever had luxurious quality and amazing software I will be purchasing their ai paper tablet later this month as well and I can’t wait for their next product because I will for sure be buying that as well.
Great tool for note taking and PDF editing. AI functionality regarding the use of ChatGTP is a bit limited as internet speed is low so apart from text conversion and simple tasks Ai feels limited. Connectivity for file sharing is good and easy. Overall nice device.
I love the feel of the pen, but I think it could be just a little wider. I may get a short rubber sleeve to go round where I hold it, to improve grip and make the stylus a little more nib heavy as well. My biggest issue so far are the buttons at the bottom of tablet. When I'm writing and I get to the bottom of the page, my hand brushes over them and the page either goes to the home page or the AI screen pops up. This is really annoying, and to me adds no real value. These should just be menu options like everything else, or they should be physical buttons along the top edge. I think there should be an option to disable these buttons if you don't want to use them.
However, I am using it for work, notes, sketching, helping my kids with their homework, and planning. I haven't looked at the ereader part yet as there's nothing on Amazon Kindle Prime that interests me so far, but the sample I read worked perfectly fine. So even though the buttons annoy me, it's still a 5/5.
Perfect form factor, 8+ inch is in sweet spot. Well thought product, with built in note taking apps for different purposes. My favorite e-ink tablet so far!
The folio is sleek, elegant. The old school loop for pen is great idea.
What I would improve is to allow a bit more customization:
- more control over toolbar i notes app: add/remove icons
- add more shades of grey in color picker
- "object" eraser - instead of removing pixels, remove strokes, like in Boox
