Google Services

What should I do if Google services are not working on my Viwoods device?

If Google services authorization fails, activation expires, or related apps (apps that use Google account sign-in) crash or fail to sign in, follow the steps below.

Google Service Activation

Go to Settings > Play Store. Turn Google services off, then turn them back on and wait for activation to complete. Reopen the affected app to check whether it works normally.

Manual Authorization

If Google services cannot be activated, follow these steps:

1. Preparation: Connect to Wi-Fi and turn on Google Service under Settings > Play Store.
2. Obtain ID: Your device will automatically generate a GSF ID. If the ID cannot be obtained, check your network connection. Tap Go to Authorize to automatically copy the ID and open the Google device registration page.
3. Register ID: Press and hold the Google Services Framework Android ID field and paste your GSF ID. Complete the verification, then tap Register.
4. Restart Your Device: Restart your device after registration.
5. Clear Data: Press and hold the Google Play Store icon and select Clear Data. Then open Google Play and try again.
App Login or Crashing Issues

If Google services have been activated but related apps still fail to sign in, crash, or do not open normally, reopen the affected app and test it again. Also confirm that Google services are currently activated.

Still Not Working?

If the issue persists, contact Viwoods Support and provide:

1. The name of the app you’re having trouble with.
2. Any error messages or relevant screenshots.

Wi-Fi Connection

What should I do if my device cannot connect to Wi-Fi, a mobile hotspot, or an enterprise Wi-Fi network, or keeps disconnecting?

Basic Troubleshooting Steps
1. Reboot your device and router

Turn your Viwoods device and the router off, then back on. Try connecting again.

2. Check the Wi-Fi name and password

Make sure you have selected the correct Wi-Fi network and entered the correct password.

3. Check the Wi-Fi signal

Move your device closer to the router to improve the Wi-Fi signal, then try connecting again.

4. Test the network with another device

Check whether a phone, computer, or another device can connect to the same Wi-Fi network. If other devices cannot connect either, the issue may be with the network or router.

5. Forget the network and reconnect

Go to Advanced Settings > WLAN, find the saved Wi-Fi network, and select Forget. Search for the network again and re-enter the password to connect.

6. Try another Wi-Fi network or mobile hotspot

Connect your Viwoods device to another Wi-Fi network or mobile hotspot. If it connects successfully, the issue may be related to the original Wi-Fi network.

7. Avoid reconnecting repeatedly

If the connection fails, wait a moment before trying again. Avoid repeatedly connecting to and disconnecting from the same network within a short period.

Advanced Network Settings

If you still cannot connect after the basic checks, make sure you can enter the Wi-Fi network details correctly on your device.

1. Check that the Wi-Fi name and password are correct.

If the Wi-Fi name or password contains special characters, check that you can enter them correctly using the device keyboard.

2. Forget the saved network, then search for it and connect again.

If the issue affects only one Wi-Fi network and your device connects to other networks normally, also check the settings of the affected router or network.

Connecting to a Mobile Hotspot

If you are trying to connect to a mobile hotspot, follow these steps:

1. Make sure the mobile hotspot is turned on and allows other devices to connect.
2. Search for the hotspot again on your Viwoods device and enter the correct hotspot password.
3. If the hotspot is already saved but will not connect, forget the network and reconnect.
4. Turn the mobile hotspot off, then back on, and try connecting again.
5. If possible, try another phone’s hotspot to help determine whether the issue is related to the current phone’s hotspot settings.

If your Viwoods device connects to regular Wi-Fi networks but consistently fails to connect to one mobile hotspot, the issue may be related to that phone’s hotspot settings or the current network environment.

Connecting to an Enterprise Network

If you are connecting to a workplace, school, or another Wi-Fi network that requires additional authentication, first check whether it has specific sign-in or security requirements.

Some enterprise or campus networks require a username, password, certificate, or other authentication details. The connection process may differ from that of a home Wi-Fi network.

If you are unsure of the requirements, contact your organization’s network administrator for the relevant details.

  1. Check whether the tip is fitted too tightly, is loose, or has visible damage.
  2. Remove and reinsert the tip, or replace it with a new one.
  3. Restart your Viwoods device and test the stylus again.
  4. Go to Settings > Pen & Gesture > Pressure Sensitivity. Gradually lower the sensitivity value and test your handwriting as you adjust it.

  1. Press and hold the app icon to clear the cache.
  2. Uninstall the app, then download and install it again.
  3. Reopen the app and check whether it works normally.

Viwoods device charging troubleshooting

Charging Issue

What should I do if my Viwoods device is not charging properly?

Viwoods device charging troubleshooting

If your device shows no clear sign of charging after you connect the charger, or the battery level does not increase, try these steps:

  1. Check that the charging cable is securely connected to both the device’s charging port and the power adapter.
  2. Use a compatible 5V/2A power adapter. Charging through a computer’s USB port is not recommended.
  3. Leave the device connected to power for at least 20 minutes without repeatedly unplugging and reconnecting the cable. Watch for changes on the screen, in the battery level, or in the charging status.

If the issue persists, contact Viwoods Support and provide photos or a video showing the charging status.

Battery drain troubleshooting on a Viwoods device

Battery Drain

What should I do if my Viwoods device’s battery drains quickly?

Battery drain troubleshooting on a Viwoods device

Third-party apps running in the background, network connections, and frequent use of certain apps can increase battery consumption. Try these steps in order:

  1. Press and hold the Home button to open Task Manager, then close any third-party apps you are not using.
  2. Turn off Wi-Fi, mobile data, and Bluetooth when you do not need them.
  3. Reboot the device to stop background processes that may still be running.
  4. Fully charge the device, then monitor battery consumption during normal use or standby.

If the battery still drains unusually quickly after closing background apps and turning off network connections, contact Viwoods Support.
